Description of the watch
This 40mm diameter Spring Drive model is a tribute to the silk culture that was once carried out in the Shinshu region, where Grand Seiko watches are now manufactured.
Its dial is thus satin-finished and reproduces a sunburst pattern of silk, so that its grain radiates outward and catches the light from all angles.
The watch is powered by the Spring Drive 9R65 caliber, hand-assembled by the skilled craftsmen of Shinshu Watch Studio. The power reserve is 72 hours when fully wound and can be checked on the indicator next to the eight o'clock index.
