To date, more than ten variations have adorned Grand Seiko mechanical watches since 2006. Exclusive to this online store, this Hi-Beat 36000 "Mt. Iwate at Midnight" is inspired by the deep blue hue of the night sky above this majestic peak. It is also the first watch in the Evolution 9 collection to feature the dial of Mt. As with all watches in the Evolution 9 collection, the prominence of its grooved hands and hour markers ensures perfect legibility for the wearer. The alternation between the Zaratsu polishing, for a mirror finish without the slightest distortion, and the brushed finish, gives the 40mm case a discreet and harmonious shine, while its wide lugs and low center of gravity, give it a perfect fit on the wrist.
