This website of the Grand Seiko Boutique Online ("the website") is managed by Grand Seiko Europe S.A.S. (Grand Seiko Boutique Vendôme).

The Terms of Use apply to all interactions that take place on the website between the Company and the customers that use the website (hereinafter the "Customers").

Article 2: Conclusion of a sales contract

A sales contract is considered to be concluded on the website when you click on the "PLACE ORDER" button and receive an "Order Confirmation" by email.
If you select "Pick-up in Store" as the delivery method at the time of purchase, we will send you notification by email that "Your Grand Seiko Watch is Ready for Pick Up". If you select "Delivery to the specified address" as the delivery method at the time of purchase, we will send you notification by email that "Delivery Notification".
However, we may be unable to deliver the product on the specified date due to a delivery delay. In this case, we will contact you by telephone or email.

Article 3: Delivery Note and Receipt

A delivery note is attached to the product you order.
If the delivery address is different from the billing address and you do not want the delivery note to be attached to the parcel, please specify this in the "Special Instructions" responsive section on the final payment page.
If you would like a receipt, please specify this in the "Special Instructions" section on the final checkout page. If the product is delivered to you personally, a receipt will be attached to the product. If the delivery address is different from the billing address, the receipt will be sent separately.
Please save the "Order Confirmation" email sent by the website as proof of the details of the order.

  5. Any act that breaks or may break any laws and regulations
  6. Any act deemed inappropriate by the Company

Article 13: Suspension or interruption of services

  1. At its sole discretion and without prior notice, the Company may suspend or interrupt the operation of all or part of its services in any of the following circumstances:
    (1) In the event of a natural disaster or any other emergency that may make it difficult to use and manage the website
    (2) For the purposes of standard or emergency maintenance operations on the equipment installed or managed by the Company to run the website
    (3) In the event of any difficulties encountered in providing the website's services to Customers, for example in the case of anomalies, malfunctions or breakdowns affecting the equipment installed or managed by the Company
    (4) If the Company believes such action is unavoidable

  2. The Company cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage suffered by Customers as a result of the suspension or interruption of the website's services, for any reason whatsoever.

Article 15: Applicable law and jurisdiction

  1. These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of European Union.
  2. In the event of a dispute between a Customer and the Company concerning the website or the Terms of Use, the Paris Regional Court shall have sole jurisdiction.

Article 1: Scope of the Terms of Membership

The Terms of Membership apply to all interactions that take place on the website between the Company and users registered as members on the website (hereinafter the "Members").

Article 2: Definition of membership

Within the context of the Terms of Membership, the term "Members" refers to customers who have completed the membership procedures and have been duly accepted by the Company as "Members" so that they can use the shopping and other services on the website.

Article 3: Duration of Membership

Subject to the provisions of Article 10 "Exclusion of Members" below, the membership shall remain valid until it is cancelled by the Member.

Article 4: Registering as a Member

  1. Click on the "My Account" button at the top of the website page.
  2. After entering the required information, please read the "Terms of Membership" and the "Privacy Policy". Then tick the box "I have read and accept the "Terms of Membership" and "Privacy Policy".
  3. After clicking on the "Register" button, you will receive a "Notice about Registration" email.
  4. Click on the "CONFIRM REGISTRATION" button within 24 hours of receiving the email.

Note
  • Your password is important for your identification.
    Consequently, Members must manage their password carefully and not communicate it to third parties.
  • If the email address you entered has already been used, you cannot register as a Member.
  • We cannot accept two entries for the same customer.

We use your registered email address for sending "Order Confirmation", "Your Grand Seiko Watch is Ready for Pick Up", or "Information about Grand Seiko" etc. emails. Also, we may contact you via email about your order etc.

Article 5: Login ID and Password

  1. This website uses your email address as a login ID.
  2. You can set your own password.
  3. Only you may use your password. You are not allowed to lend or transfer it to anyone else.
  4. You are entirely responsible for managing your login ID and password.
  5. We cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage arising from any unforeseen use of your login ID and password by you or a third party.

If you forget your password, please follow the steps below.
(1) Click on the "My Account" button at the top of the website page.
(2) Click on the "Forgot Password?" button on the login page.
(3) Enter your email address and click on the "Submit" button and you will receive a "Notice about Password Reset" by email.
(4) After clicking on the "Password Reset" button in the email, you can create a new password.
◎ In order to prevent any potential fraudulent use, we cannot respond to your questions by phone or email.

Article 6: Benefits of membership

Once you have registered as a Member, you will enjoy the following benefits:

  1. Auto-complete of main fields
    The name and delivery address are displayed automatically on the payment page.
  2. Order history
    You can consult the orders you have placed over the last two years. Orders that you placed without being logged in as a Member are not saved in the history.
  3. Address Book
    The delivery data is saved in the "Address Book".
    The data saved can be modified directly via the "Address Book" in "My Account".
    ◎ If you are not registered as a Member (or if you are registered as a Member but have not logged in as such), you must enter all the required data, such as your name and address, each time you place an order.
  4. Wishlist
    You can save any products that interest you in your "Wishlist" while shopping. You can then view these products later in the "Wishlist".
  5. News about Grand Seiko
    Members may subscribe to "Grand Seiko Newsletter", which provides news about the website.

Article 7: Verification and updating of registration data

You can check and update your registration details via "My Account" at the top of the page.

◎ Your order history contains information about your completed orders. You cannot change these data later.

Article 8: Address Book

If you are registered as a Member, you can save your shopping information in the "Address Book". You can use this information to place an order.

You can use the "Address Book" after clicking on the "My Account" button at the top of the page once you have logged in. You can check your delivery information, add a new address or change an existing one. You can also set a default address. If you tick the "Set as default" box, the corresponding address will automatically be displayed on the payment page (you can select a different delivery address by clicking on "Address Book").

Article 9: Personal data linked to membership

Article 10: Exclusion of Members

Members will be excluded if any of the following circumstances arise.
  1. If incorrect data are entered during registration
  2. In the event of any improper use of a Member's login ID and password
  3. If a Member fails to make a payment as part of an individual sales contract concerning products purchased on the website
  4. In the event of a failure to comply with these "Terms of Membership" or the "Terms of Use"
  5. If the Company has reasonable grounds to exclude a Member

Article 11: Cancelling membership

Members may cancel their membership at any time.
To do this, go to the "About Closing Your Account" section by clicking on "My Account" at the top of the page after logging in. By clicking on the "Withdrawal" button at the bottom of the page, the withdrawal procedure will be completed.

◎ The Terms of Membership apply to all sales contracts concerning the products you purchased prior to closing the account, even after the cancellation of your membership. For more details, please refer to the Privacy Policy.
◎ The benefits linked to Membership (such as "Order history", "Address book", etc.) will no longer be available and registration data will be deleted following the cancellation of the account.

Article 12: Changes to the Terms of Membership

These Terms of Membership may be amended without prior notice.
Details of any changes will be posted on this website and Members shall be considered to be in approval following this notification.
